Ronaldo overtook Hamilton and Federer for Europe`s No. 1 athlete

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo wins his second prize for 2017. The Portuguese was chosen as Europe`s No. 1 athlete, ahead of the Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and tennis legend Roger Federer who ranked second and third in the final standings. 26 polls from around the world took part in the poll. This award has been awarded since 1958 by the Polish news agency PAP. Ronaldo has received 159 points from the voting journalists, while Hamilton has 143 points and Federer with 124. The fourth place is Rafael Nadal with 113 points.
Cristiano won this prize for a second consecutive year. In 2017 he earned the Golden Ball and was named Best Player at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony in Dubai yesterday.
